Lets get gluey

Hey Scrapers (I mean scrap-book-ers, not people who get in fights).

Today’s tip is about glue! While this may not sound very exciting, you need glue to stick all the photos, newspaper clippings and extra bits and bobs into your scrap book (or books if you are anything like me :) lol). I like to use Uhu glue sticks. I’ve found that they stick quite well onto a variety of surfaces.


It usually only takes a single coat to get pretty much anything to hold onto the page. The glue stick doesn’t hold so well to material, so I’d suggest getting some fabric glue for that. One thing I really love about glue sticks is that if you look extra hard (try craft shops) you can find coloured ones. My favourite one is purple!

The glue goes on all fun and colourful, but dries clear so no need to worry about being super neat. As an added bonus the colour parts show you where you have glued already, which stops you from over gluing. Over gluing can seep through to the other side of the paper or make it go all wavy. You don’t really want that when you are making your scrap book.

Seeing as I haven't posted anything since forever (lols! It hasn't been that long really) I've decided to make this page about scrap-booking. Expect lots of fun hints, tips and shots (that's photos) of my own s-books (that's scrap books of course!) over the next few weeks.

Leo!!

Tomorrow I'm going to some Leonardo exhibition, not the ninja turtle but some other guy who is apparently famous for painting a picture of someone smiling, which is not all that special a thing. I'm pretty sure that heaps of people have been pictured smiling, even me. My mum saw that picture and she said it was small. Who am I to judge tho? Someone paid like $8000000 for The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living, which I am pretty sure is just an embalmed shark.





In my science room in high school there was a bunch of jars filled with embalmed snakes and the like. If I knew they were worth millions of dollars I probably would have stolen them, been rich and content and gone to hell .





Leo, as he likes to called by friends, features prominently in this game Assassin's Creed 2. Ass Creed 2, as it likes to be called by friends, unsurprisingly features lots of killing (or assassinating). You, the player, play the role of “Guy in hood and half cloak” (GIHAHC) and go around killing people because they killed your family. That's pretty much the plot of Star Wars but I'm not accusing anyone of stealing. Especially as my millions were obtained through the illicit sale of embalmed science room stuff. Oh wait that never happened, leaving me desperately poor and lonely. Curses...

Anyway, Leo spends the whole game hanging around his workshop, building implements of death for GIHAHC, who in turn massacres everyone in Italy, then kills the pope. (Ha! Spoiled the ending for you, you kill the pope at the end. Not the current pope but some ye olde one.) It kind of bothers me that Leo hangs around with someone like GIHAHC. He always seemed like such a stand up guy. Or perhaps I am confusing the real guy with Leonard of Quirm. I think the exhibition has all sorts of models built of his stuff, like the ENNOGEHT. I've written previously of my likenessness of things that look like things but are small, so hopefully it will be good.

If I knew where my camera was I would post something of consequence.

Today I drank out of a glass...

The glass was both clear and blue at the same time. The top was blue and the bottom was clear, with a merge-y bit between the two. I estimate the glass held between 250 and 300 mL.
